Universities of Western Civilization

BOARD OF GOVERNORS

The President (or their designate) of  each UOWC member institution which supports the norms of the Apostolic Constitution Ex Corde Ecclesiae and accepts the Magisterium of the Catholic Church is ex officio a member of the Board of Governors of the Universities of Western Civilization network of cooperating colleges, college-level programs and universities.  Credit acceptance policies vary so widely – even within the same institutions in different departments – that students frequently discover to their chagrin and time and financial loss that some of the courses they took at one institution or at a different department in the same institution will not be accepted elsewhere. UOWC aims to coordinate their educational offerings for students via articulation agreements among them thereby enabling students to plan ahead for their tertiary education without the ambiguities normally attendant upon transfers and combining courses from different institutions. UOWC member institutions and their Presidents and Chairs work together to remove that problem for students. Below are the members of the UOWC Board of Governors.
