PARTICIPATING INSTITUTIONS

The Universities of Western Civilization website lists those institutions offering higher (i.e., “post-secondary, tertiary, college or university level”) education which have entered into Agreements that provide for full or partial acceptance of college-level work completed at some or all of the other participating institutions, detailed elsewhere in this website at Programs & Courses.

The Catholic institutions participating must be Ex Corde Ecclesiae compliant or actively engaged in becoming so, and faithful to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church, whose visible head on earth is His Holiness,

Pope Benedict XVI

Non-Catholic participating institutions are welcome and willing collaborators in the preservation of Western civilization, particularly in the areas of the natural sciences and general education.

Update: We are Saddened to Announce the Closure of St Bede’s Hall, Oxford

Oxford, Thursday, January 6, 2011. A new Catholic academic project at Oxford has been wound up. After the closure of Greyfriars Hall, Oxford some former members of the staff decided to open their own Catholic College. St Bede’s Hall emerged in 2009 with the intention to recruit undergraduate students from overseas, including from the Angelicum Academy and UOWC network, as well as summer school students. The Hall was recognized as a Catholic College by Archbishop Vincent Nichols, just prior to his move from Birmingham to Westminster. But the dream which was St Bede’s Hall has come to an end. St Bede’s Hall has now closed. This notice will be left up during 2011 to advise students.
