Ignatius-Angelicum Liberal Studies Program College Links
The Ignatius-Angelicum Liberal Studies Program is a number of college-level courses and programs coordinated jointly by Ignatius Press, the Angelicum Academy and the cooperating Catholic colleges and universities listed below, to enable students to begin earning college credits as early as age 14 (9th grade) and then have those credits accepted at Catholic colleges towards bachelor’s degrees, without the credit-acceptance-policy ambiguities so often attendant upon attempting to transfer college-level credits to a college or university.
Most students begin the Liberal Studies Program (“LSP”) by enrolling in the Angelicum Great Books Program (the initial part of the Liberal Studies Program) while homeschooling or in high school. They may earn up to 48 hours of college-level credits in that part of the LSP, and then transfer into one of the colleges or universities that have specifically agreed to accept some or all of those credits, including those listed below: Campion College Australia; Benedictine College, Atchison, Kansas, USA; St. Bede’s Hall, Oxford, UK: Catholic Distance University, online. These colleges constitute the concluding portion of the Liberal Studies Program.

Other colleges and universities also accept Angelicum Great Books Program credits as well, including Harrison Middleton University (an online Great Books University), and those that accept the American Council on Education’s recommendations for college credit courses.
